He also worked in private practice as a pediatric pulmonologist, affiliated with Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine and Scottish Rite Children's Medical Center, in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Cohen is active in the field of pediatric pulmonology. He serves as a Member of Clinical Advisory Board of Aridis Pharmaceuticals LLC. He serves as a Board Member of SJ Pharmaceuticals, LLC. He serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, caring for patients and helping to teach physicians in training. He served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, as well as Co-director of the Pediatric Lung Transplant program at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis Children's Hospital. Dr. Cohen has authored and published over 100 peer reviewed articles, abstracts, platform presentations and book chapters in his areas of expertise, and lectured extensively throughout the world. He serves as a manuscript reviewer for both the Journal of Pediatrics and CHEST, the journal of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester and his Medical Degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency and fellowship training in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Pediatric Pulmonology at National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Disease. Dr. Cohen is a board certified Pediatric Pulmonologist.
