He has been Consultant of SVO Management, Inc. since January 1, 1999. He served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of SVO Management, Inc. (formerly Vistana Management Inc. and Vistana Inc.) until December 31, 1998. At Vistana, Inc., he served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Vistana, Mr. Averil worked in public accounting for KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Averil is a Member of Strategic Advisory Board at Vintage Capital Management, LLC. He has been a Director of API Technologies Corp. since January 15, 2011. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Avril graduated in 1982 with honors from the University of Miami.
