Mr. Ayer serves as Chairman of BusinessLINC and served as Chairman of the American Insurance Association (AIA). Mr. Ayer is a member of the boards of XL Insurance Group in Bermuda. He served as Director of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. since 1991. Mr. Ayer has a PhD and Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.
