Early in her career, she served as the marketing manager for a large national association. She serves as Director of Northern Virginia Technology Council. She served as Sponsorship Committee Chair at Women In Technology. Ms. Shanahan holds a bachelor's degree with a double major in finance and communications from Virginia Tech University.
