He has been a Director of Barcelo Crestline since December 29, 1998. He served as a Director of Marriott International Inc., from 1977 to January 2006. In April 2002, he was named by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Japanese government to co-chair a special taskforce to promote travel between the United States and Japan.
