Mr. James D. Reimer, P.Geol. has been Vice President of Exploration at Painted Pony Petroleum Ltd., since May 9, 2011. Mr. Reimer served as Executive Vice President, Business Development of Result Energy Inc. since March 31, 2007. He has more than 30 years of diversified E&P experience. He has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of a private Canadian exploration company and Principal of his own geological consulting firm since 2002. He served as Vice President ... of Exploration & Development at Result Energy Inc., since May 07, 2004 until March 31, 2007. He served as Vice-President of Exploration of Stampeder Exploration Ltd., Encal Energy Ltd. and Vice-President of West Business Unit of Encal Energy. Mr. Reimer is an acknowledged explorationist and is widely regarded as an industry expert in the Devonian play systems of western Canada. He is also credited with the initial discovery of the Ring-Border gas field for Home Oil Company. He has served on the British Columbia executive policy group of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP); also as a Board member of the Small Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (SEPAC); and as an industry representative to the Advisory Board of the British Columbia Oil and Gas Commission (OGC). Mr. Reimer was President of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. He has received several major awards from the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists for his innovative ideas concerning Devonian gas reservoirs in northern Alberta and northeastern British Columbia. He was named a Science Alumnus of Honour by the University of Waterloo in 2007. Mr. Reimer holds a Masters degree in Geology from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of APEGGA and the CSPG.
