He served as a Director of The St. Paul Companies, Inc. since October 10, 2011 and Travelers Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. since 1998. He was the Chairman of the American Insurance Association. At the University of Pennsylvania, he is a member of the Board of Trustees and the Industry Advisory Board of the Financial Institutions Center for The Wharton School. He also served as a Member of the Carlson School of Management Board of Overseers at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Fishman is an Alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, magna cum laude, in 1974 and a master's degree in Accounting from the Wharton School, also in 1974.
