He served in that role through Westinghouse Electric's transformation into a pure media entity, which culminated in the acquisition of CBS in 1995 and the name change to CBS Corporation in 1997. He is a Regent on the Georgetown Board of Regents and Chairperson of the Georgetown Corporate Counsel Institute. Mr. Briskman holds Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1970 and a Graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in the year 1973 and Joint Degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
