Mr. Redmond served as President of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, Inc. since December 1, 2007 and was served for Animal Health Businesses, responsible for all facets of the Division's global operations and R&D. He served as a Member of the Management, Operations, Human Resources/Benefits and the Law and Regulatory Committees of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously at Wyeth, Mr. Redmond served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of the BioPharma Business Unit, where he was responsible for the creation of the global biopharma business and grew the business significantly. He also had global commercial responsibilities for the BioPharma business and for the protein new product R&D pipeline. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Redmond worked in R&D as a Project Team Leader and served as Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Marketing for Wyeth. He worked at Sandoz in both the United States and in Switzerland. He began working in Biotechnology in the early 1990's when Sandoz formed the Cytokine Development Unit (CDU). Within the CDU, he worked in both the Commercial and R&D organizations. He served as a Director of WebMD Health Corp. from May 31, 2012 to May 2013. Mr. Redmond has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University, where he also completed a post-graduate fellowship in Organizational Change Management.
