Mr. Carl Bass has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Autodesk, Inc., since May 1, 2006. Mr. Bass served as the Chief Operating Officer of Autodesk, Inc. from June 2004 to May 1, 2006. He also held many strategic positions at Autodesk before joining Buzzsaw, including Executive Vice President of Autodesk Ventures, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President of the AECAD Group, where he was responsible for the design and development of AutoCAD and AEC products. Prior to Autodesk, he co-founded Ithaca Software. Mr. Bass served as the Chief Technical Officer of Ithaca Software from May 1986 to August 1993. He served as Principal Accounting Officer of Autodesk, Inc. from August 14, 2008 to April 26, 2009. From June 1999 to July 2001, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Buzzsaw.com, Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of LocationLogic LLC. He played a strategic role in directing Buzzsaw.com's business initiatives. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Impact Venture Partners. He serves as a Director of Humnin LLC. Mr. Bass has been a Director of E2open, Inc., since August 1, 2011 and Autodesk Inc., since January 7, 2006. He has been a Director of iRise, Inc. since May 2007 and of Autodesk, Inc. since May 1, 2006. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Art Center College of Design and the Rocky Mountain Institute. He serves as a member of the Executive Advisory Boards of Cornell Computing and Information Science and UC Berkeley School of Information. He served as a Director of McAfee, Inc. from January 28, 2008 to February 2011. He served as a Director of Serena Software Inc., since January 27, 2004. Mr. Bass holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Cornell University.
