Mr. Washington serves as a Director on a number of company Boards in Canada and the United States. He has been the Chairman of Seaspan Management Services Limited since July 2005 and also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Washington Marine Group Shipyards. Mr. Washington also serves as a Director and Chairman of the Board of SCLL and each of the VesselCos. He serves as a Director of BioLytical Laboratories Inc and Washington Canadian Ltd. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Washington Marine Group from April 2001 to June 2004. Mr. Washington was an ambassador to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Mr. Washington is actively involved in a variety of British Columibia’s charitable organizations including Basketball BC and the Young Life organization in Oregon. Mr. Washington received a Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Finance Degree from the University of Montana in 1995.
