Mr. H. Carl McCall was the Managing Director and Vice Chairman of HealthpointCapital, LLC since February, 2003. From 1985 to 1993, Mr. McCall served as the Vice President of Citicorp. Mr. McCall served as Comptroller of the State of New York May 1993 until December 2002, when he became the Democratic nominee for Governor of the State of New York. As Comptroller, he was responsible for financial oversight and pension fund management. As sole Trustee of the 888,000 member ... State and Local Retirement Systems, Mr. McCall was responsible for investing a pension fund valued at over $100 billion. Under his leadership, the value of the fund more than doubled. He also served as the President of the New York City Board of Education from 1991 until May 1993, and also served as a U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Commissioner of the New York State Division of Human Rights and was elected to three terms as New York State Senator. Mr. McCall has been a Director of Tyco International Ltd., since March 2003. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustee of State University of New York since June 2007. Mr. McCall has also been a Director of New Plan Excel Realty Trust Inc., since 2003 and also serves as a Member of its Audit Committee. He has been a Director of Standard Commercial Corp., since November 2003. Mr. McCall previously served as a member of the board of the New York Stock Exchange since June 1999 until September 2003, serving as the Chairman of its Governance Committee and its Lead Director. Mr. McCall received a Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and a Master's of divinity from Andover-Newton Theological School in Andover, Massachusetts and was also educated at University of Edinburgh. Mr. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 1997 Nelson A. Rockefeller Award for Distinguished Public Service. Mr. McCall is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ.
