Mr. Kim Hock Kiong, Arthur has been Chief Executive Officer of Far East Hospitality of Far East Orchard Limited since September 01, 2012. Mr. Kiong returned to Far East in 2012, where he headed the Organization's then newly-formed Hotel Division from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Kiong was responsible for the inception of Canopy Marketing Group Pte Ltd, as its Chief Executive Officer. He has also held various regional and area sales and marketing positions with hotels such as the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the Ritz-Carlton in Singapore and America, and the Grand Hyatt and Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza in Singapore. Mr. Kiong served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Sales & Marketing of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited and oversees the management and development of its worldwide sales and marketing efforts and strategies. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Kiong was Vice-President of Marketing (Asia Pacific) for the Peninsula Group based in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the marketing functions in Head Office and Sales for the hotel outside the U.S. Mr. Kiong has over 20 years of hotel industry experience having held operations, sales and marketing roles for various hotels in Asia and the USA including The Peninsula Hotels, the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt International, Westin Hotels, and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts. Prior to this, Mr. Kiong served with Peninsula Hotel Group in Hong Kong, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in New York. He has been Executive Director at Far East Orchard Limited since September 01, 2012. Mr. Kiong holds a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management from the Singapore Hotel Association Training and Education Centre (SHATEC).
