She helped found and is the President of The Woodlands Bar Association. She won the 2006 Best Corporate Counsel Award from the Houston Business Journal and was nominated for the 2006 Magna Stella Award for Best Counsel and Innovative Management by the Texas General Counsel Forum. She is a frequent speaker at legal conferences on the topic of Legal Department Management. She is admitted to the bar in both Alberta and Texas. Ms. Ripley received LL.B from Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta where she majored in political science and economics.
