In 1998, he assumed responsibility for Emerson's industrial components and electronics business, and was later promoted to Executive Vice President. He has been a Director of Emerson Electric Co. since 2000. Mr. Peters attended Cornell University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering. He completed his graduate studies at Harvard University, where he received a Master's of Business Administration.
