In 1990, he received the "Mining Man of the Year" award in recognition of his vital role in the discovery and development of Eskay Creek gold deposit in Canada, and in 1994, he received the prestigious "Prospector of the Year" award in recognition for the major role he played in discovery and development of the Eskay Creek Deposits, as well as for his leadership of Adrian Resources, Ltd. during the exploration and development of the Petaquilla copper-gold-silver-moly deposits in the Republic of Panama. Mr. Idziszek holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the McGill University and received a Master of Applied Sciences degree from here in June 1975.
