Mr. Ovid Santoro serves as the Chief Executive Officer at SurfCast, Inc. Mr. Santoro has over 20 years experience as an investment banker, principal investor in late-stage and commercial stage technology businesses (venture and growth capital), as well as in structured financing. Mr. Santoro was a Venture Partner in the Life Sciences team at TVM Capital GmbH. During the last ten years, he worked with Deutsche Bank, most recently as an Advisor to the bank's 'Alternative ... Capital' group and as a Consultant to the 'Corporate Investments' division. From March 1998 until December 1999, Mr. Santoro was the Founder, Managing Director, and Global Head of venture capital at Deutsche Bank AG as well as the Deputy Chairman of Deutsche Bank AG's private equity commitment committee. Previously, Mr. Santoro held similar positions at Credit Suisse First Boston, Lehman Brothers, and Drexel Burnham. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank AG, from May 1993 to March 1998, he was a strategic Consultant to various technology companies. Mr. Santoro has served on the Boards of several companies (both public and private), and is currently the Chairman of SurfCast, Inc. and a Director at Xingtone Inc. He served as Director of Airspan Networks, Inc. since November 1998. Mr. Santoro is author of the several software patents. He was the first European Editor for The Red Herring magazine. Mr. Santoro holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
