Brands Inc. since January 28, 2005. Mr. Linen has been a Director of GetThere L.P. since March 2000. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Intercontinental Hotels Group PLC since December 1, 2005. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Retail Options Inc. He serves as a Director of Modern Bank, National Association. He serves on the Board of World Monuments Fund and U.S. Travel & Tourism Promotion Advisory Board. Mr. Linen served as a Director of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated since 1996. Mr. Linen served as a Director of American Express Company from August 1993 to December 2005. He serves as a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the U.S.-Japan Business Council, Chairman of the International Golf Association, a Member of the Board of Governors of the American Red Cross. He serves as an Honorary Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Urban League and the U.S. Council for International Business, and serves as a Member of The Council on Foreign Relations. He is a graduate of both The Gunnery School in 1962 and a B.A. from Williams College 1966. Mr. Linen also graduated from the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School.
