Mr. Hugh R. Harris has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Lender Processing Services, Inc., since October 5, 2011. Mr. Harris served as the President of Financial Services Technology Solutions Division of Fidelity Information Services, Inc. Prior to Fidelity Information Services, Inc., he served as the Chief Executive Officer of HomeSide Lending Inc. since 2000, where he was responsible for one of the world's largest full service mortgage companies with ... an extensive origination operation and $190 billion servicing portfolio, representing 2.1 million homeowners. Mr. Harris played a key role in the facilitation of mergers and acquisitions, which was a key component of HomeSide's growth strategy. Mr. Harris began his mortgage banking career in 1974 with SouthTrust Mortgage in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1983, he joined Mortgage Corp. of the South (MCS), a Bank of Boston subsidiary in Birmingham, Alabama, as Senior Vice President and Manager of residential production and secondary marketing. He served as President of MCS since 1986. Since January 1993, Mr. Harris served as President and Chief Operating Officer of BBMC. He served as President of Mortgage Division of Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (formerly Certegy Inc.) and also served as its Executive Vice President of Mortgage Processing Services since February 2006. He served as Vice President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama. In January 1988, Mr. Harris served as a Vice Chairman of BancBoston Mortgage Corp. (BBMC), the successor to MCS, and was responsible for residential production and secondary marketing. He serves as a Director of Fidelity National Financial Inc., and has been Director of Lender Processing Services, Inc since October 2011. Mr. Harris has been a Director of Tucker Anthony Sutro since June 1998. He served as a Director of CSC Covansys Corp. from April 11, 2005 to May 24, 2006. He served as a Member of the Fannie Mae Regional Advisory Board and the Fannie Mae National Advisory Council. In addition, he served as a Member of the Lender Services Inc. Advisory Board and of the Republic Mortgage Insurance Corp. (RMIC) Advisory Board. He served in the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) on the Board of Governors and Legislative Committee. Mr. Harris has a Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University.
