He received the CBE in the 1992 Queen’s Birthday Honours for his contribution to technology development. He is a Member of IVA. He serves as a Treasurer and Council Member of the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences (RSA). He holds Honorary Doctorates from Brunel University and City University. Mr. Edge holds D.Tech, MIEE, and C.Eng.
