During his career at Chevron, he had responsibility for business in North America, Europe, Africa, Russia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and India. This included successfully leading an effort to negotiate the financing, design and construction of a US$2.8 billion pipeline from the Tengiz Field in Western Kazakhstan to the Black Sea. He has been Chairman of Kanpur Foundation from January 1, 2010. He served as Deputy Chairman of Transfield Services Ltd from October 22, 2010 to November 2, 2012. He has been a Director of Southern California Edison Company since April 22, 2010. He has been a Director at Edison International since April 2010. Mr. Bindra has been a Director at Transocean Ltd. since May 10, 2011. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at LyondellBasell Industries NV since May 10, 2011.
