Mr. Martin Senn has been the Chief Executive Officer at Zurich Insurance Group AG since January 01, 2010. Mr. Senn served as the chief investment officer of Zurich Insurance Group AG from January 04, 2006 to December 31, 2009 and its Member of Group Management Board. He served as Chief Information Officer of Swiss Life Holding AG from January 01, 2003 to March 2006. Mr. Senn has been member of the board of directors of Maerki Baumann & Co. AG since 2002 and the Technopark Zurich Foundation which promotes technology transfer by making its extensive contact network available to science and industry. As interim chairman for the Credit Suisse Group in Japan, Mr. Senn was given the turnaround mandate for restructuring and repositioning all legal entities of Credit Suisse Group in Japan. As a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse he became head of the trading and investment services division in 2001 with extended product responsibility. In this function, Martin Senn headed different investment bodies and was given challenging assignments related to corporate policy. He assumed his position as chief investment officer of Swiss Life Group in January 2003. He serves as Director of Institute Of International Finance, Inc. In addition he serves as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in Zurich. He was a member of the board of directors of various banks and financial services firms including Castle Alternative Invest Ltd. He was Director of Nomura Bank (Switzerland) Ltd since 2002. He served as Director of Banca del Gottardo S.A. from April 29, 2005 to April 27, 2006. He served as Director of Castle Alternative Invest AG since 2003. From 1997 to 1999 he was a member of the Global Fixed Income Management Committee of Credit Suisse First Boston and co-chairman of the Swiss Management Committee for fixed income and equities. Mr. Senn received his commercial and banking diploma from the Business School in Basel, Switzerland and graduated from the International Executive Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
