She served as Director of Business Development Bank of Canada since August 15, 2002. She has been an Independent Director of Sun Life Financial Inc. since May 10, 2012. She served as Director of TMX Group Inc. from October 12, 1999 to October 31, 2004 and previously from May 19, 1993 to June 10, 1999. She served as a Director of TSX Venture Exchange Inc., Market Regulation Services Inc., and RBC Dexia Investor Services Limited. She serves as a Member of Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Foundation and a Member of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and the Royal Ontario Museum. Ms. Stymiest has also served on a number of professional and charitable organizations including the CICA Accounting Standards Oversight Council, United Way Campaign Cabinet, Toronto Rehab Foundation, Hincks-Dellcrest Children's Centre, and the Campaign Cabinet of the United Way of Greater Toronto. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Ms. Stymiest holds an Honors Degree in Business Administration (HBA) and MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
