He started his professional career at Deutsche Lufthansa AG in 1986 in the field of Corporate Organisation. Focal points of his work were restructuring projects and cost-cutting programmes. Mr. Teckentrup serves as Deputy Chairman of The Supervisory Board and has been its Member of the Supervisory Board for Sixt Aktiengesellschaft since June 12, 2007. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Council of Dfs Deutsche Flugsicherung Gmbh. He served as a Member of the Board at Thomas Cook Group plc since January 1, 2004. He served as a Director of Amadeus Technology Group SA (formerly Amadeus Global Travel Distribution, S.A). Mr. Teckentrup studied Industrial Economics at Hamburg Polytechnic in 1978 and a Degree in 1985.
