He has over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business development for the music and entertainment industry. He was also responsible for other leading artists such as, U2, Melissa Etheridge, Steve Earle, The Tragically Hip, Huey Lewis and The News, Billy Idol, R.E.M. and Fine Young Cannibals during his tenor at Universal Music, (previously MCA Records). He serves as a Board Member of Nomadic-E!. Mr. Diemer has been a Member of Advisory Board of Yangaroo Inc., since March 31, 2006; and Scavo Resource Corp. since June 2010. He serves on the Advisory Board for Crossflux Inc. He served as Member of Advisory Board of HIP Digital Media, Inc. He is a participating Member of the JUNO AWARDS Marketing Committee. He is an active Member of CARAS (Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) and ECMA (East Coast Music Association). He chaired the JUNO AWARDS Marketing Committee from 1998 to 2002. Mr. Diemer has a graduate degree in Television, Stage and Radio Arts from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
