Mr. Scott B. McClelland has been President of Houston Food / Drug Division stores of H.E. Butt Grocery Company since 2003. Mr. McClelland serves as the President of H-E-B's Houston and Central Market Division. Mr. McClelland joined H-E-B in 1990 as a Vice President of Operations for the Austin Region. After transferring to H-E-B corporate headquarters in San Antonio in 1991, Mr. McClelland held several leadership positions for it including a Vice President of General ... Merchandise Marketing and a Group Vice President of DrugStore. Since 1995, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and the Chief Merchandising Officer since 2000. His responsibilities were expanded to include Central Market in late 2001. Prior to joining H-E-B, he served for Pepsico's Frito Lay Division for 10 years. He chairs the Houston Food Bank and serves on the board of Memorial Herman Hospital Systems. He is also a member of the Children's Defense Fund. Mr. McClelland has been a Director of Sanders Morris Harris Group Inc., since June 18, 2004. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. McClelland serves as a Director of the San Antonio Spurs Foundation, Texas Special Olympics, Greater Houston Partnership and Memorial Hermann Hospital System. He also serves on the University of Texas Business Advisory Council. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
