In the mid-1990s, he helped start McKinsey & Company’s China technology practice. Mr. Hsiao started his career as an Engineering Tech Lead at Medtronic and was instrumental in developing microcircuits for three new implantable cardiovascular and neurological medical devices and bioartificial liver. He also serves on the Board of 42Floors Inc., Elance, Inc 3Jam, Cassatt Corporation, DreamFactory Software, Inc., SAY Media, Inc., Jentro Technologies GmbH and Motion Computing, Inc. Mr. Hsiao has been a Director of Boingo Wireless Inc since 2006. He serves as a Director of Gaikai, Inc.
