Ms. Mary M. Boies, Esq., serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boies & McInnis LLP. Ms. Boies founded Mary Boies Software, Inc., and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in her career, she was a Vice President with CBS, Inc., where she was responsible for its public disclosures for compliance with securities laws. She was general counsel for the Civil Aeronautics Board, where she was responsible for major antitrust investigations relating to the ... travel agent industry, international airline pricing and practices, and airline mergers, acquisitions and stock transactions. During the Carter Administration, Ms. Boies served as Assistant Director of the White House Domestic Policy Staff. During her time in the White House, Ms. Boies played a key role in the deregulation of the airline, railroad and trucking industries. She serves as Vice Chairperson of Business Executives for National Security. She serves as a Director of Council on Foreign Relations, Inc. She served as Director of Mbna Corp. and MBNA America Bank, N.A. since June 1, 2004. She was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Defense to the Air University Board.
