Mr. Paul D. Wachter is the Founder of Main Street Advisors and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wachter was an Operating Partner of Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director and Head of Schroder & Co. Incorporated's Lodging and Gaming Group, its Sports and Leisure Group, and Schroder's West Coast investment banking effort from 1993 to 1997. From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Wachter was a Managing Director at Kidder Peabody where he ... founded and was responsible for Kidder’s Hotel, Resorts and Leisure Group, and managed Kidder Peabody’s Los Angeles investment banking group. He began his career as an investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., covering the entertainment industry. From 1982 to 1985, he worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison as a Tax Attorney. Mr. Wachter has been an Independent Director of Time Warner Inc. since October 2010. He served as a Director of American Skiing Co. from December 16, 1999 to February 27, 2008. From 1981 to 1982, he clerked for Judge Dorothy W. Nelson on the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Mr. Wachter serves in a variety of Advisory and Board roles including University of California; Board of Regents; Special Advisor to the California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth; Board of Governors of Special Olympics Southern California; and Chairman of the Board of the After-School All-Stars national organization.
