Krehbiel Sr. Professor for Emerging Technologies at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and also as the Dean of the Thayer School on two separate occasions, from 1984 to 1994 and then from 1997 to 1998. Dr. Hutchinson has been a Professor at the University of Massachusetts, has published extensively and has extensive consulting experience with both public and private entities. Dr. Hutchinson received his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1963, his M.S.E.E. from Stanford in 1961 and his B.S.E.E. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1957.
