He also served as Global Team Leader at Ogilvy & Mather on BP (formerly, BP Amoco/British Petroleum). He served as Vice President of Marketing at the Miller Brewing Company and in addition was involved with the corporate communications efforts of the Philip Morris Companies, which at the time was the parent company of Miller. Prior to Miller, Mr. Rooney was with three high profile San Francisco agencies - at Leagas Delaney as a Founding Partner; at FCB as Worldwide Account Director on Levi Strauss & Co; at Hal Riney & Partners, where his responsibilities included Anheuser-Busch.
