As an entrepreneur, Mr. Kikta has held senior executive positions in corporate development, strategy, marketing, and product development playing instrumental in the start-up divisions at Nokia PCS, Panasonic PCS and Communications, GoldStar, and also as a Founder of E-Life, Inc., SpeedLink Communications, Global Wireless Holdings, ChangeAgent. He is also an acknowledged expert on market trends from an anthropological, sociological, and psychological perspectives and the role of technologies on society. An industry pioneer, Mr. Kikta understood and sought to harness the impact of wireless communications long before it was recognized as the transformative force it is today. He also led the development of several wireless industry firsts: payphones, in-building and PBX systems, voice recognition dialers, smartphone, and several generations of mobile, transportable and portable phone designs, features and functions and also the initial launch of PCS in the U.S. Mr. Kikta is a Member on the Board of Directors or Advisors for multiple companies, industry associations, and philanthropic organizations. He is also a contributing editor of the Mobile Video magazine, The Animated Telecom Dictionary” and the “Telecom Dictionary” published by Althos, NowPublic, ThoughtLeader.net, and the Business Class Editor at DallasBlog.com. Mr. Kikta is also the co-inventor on a patent. In 2000, Mr. Kikta was bestowed the Fellow award by the Radio Club of America for his contributions to the wireless industry and named a 2001 High Tech All-Star by DFW Tech Biz. He is a respected authority on technology innovation and entrepreneurship, and is a sought after public speaker on future trends, innovation, entrepreneurship and venture capital investing and frequently quoted in newspapers, industry publications. He is a co-author of four books published by McGraw-Hill on communications technologies including: “Wireless Internet Crash Course“, “3G Wireless Demystified“, “Delivering xDSL“, and “CDMA IS-95 for Cellular & PCS: Technology, Economics & Services“ and over 100 articles, as a Contributing Editor at Mobile Video magazine, The Animated Telecom Dictionary, NowPublic, ThoughtLeader.net and the DallasBlog.com. He is also a co-inventor on a patent issued titled Location-Based Novelty Index Value and Recommendation System and Method. Mr. Kikta has completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital Program at the Harvard Business School; management and leadership courses at New York University; Strategy and Innovation program at MIT Sloan School of Management, the Compass Management and Leadership program at Nokia; and the Dimensional Management program at Matsushita Electric Corporation. Mr. Kikta holds a B.A. degree in History and Economics from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Management Leadership program at New York University.
