He has over 25 years of experience of creating, building, inspiring, and accelerating the highest level of achievement throughout every organization he touches, which included leading wireless industry companies: Nokia, Matsushita or Panasonic, GoldStar, and OKI Telecom. Mr. Kikta has extensive experiences and successes in crossing the organizational and cultural barriers between the functional disciplines of strategic planning, product and technology development, marketing, market development, sales, and finance. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Kikta has held senior executive positions in corporate development, strategy, marketing, and product development playing instrumental in the start-up divisions at Nokia PCS, Panasonic PCS and Communications, GoldStar, and also as a Founder of E-Life, Inc., SpeedLink Communications, Global Wireless Holdings, ChangeAgent. He is also an acknowledged expert on market trends from an anthropological, sociological, and psychological perspectives and the role of technologies on society. An industry pioneer, Mr. Kikta understood and sought to harness the impact of wireless communications long before it was recognized as the transformative force it is today. He also led the development of several wireless industry firsts: payphones, in-building and PBX systems, voice recognition dialers, smartphone, and several generations of mobile, transportable and portable phone designs, features and functions and also the initial launch of PCS in the U.S. Mr. Kikta is a Member on the Board of Directors or Advisors for multiple companies, industry associations, and philanthropic organizations. He is currently a Director of Prophesi Technologies, Mobile Radius, Transat, Genesis Campus, American Electronics Association’s Texas Council Board of Directors, Charter Member of TiE, Richardson Economic Development Technology Advisory Board, Entrepreneurs North Texas Foundation, Advisory Council, and Member of Executive Advisory Council at University of Texas at Dallas, School of Management and The Jindal School of Management - Executive Education. Mr. Kikta is a Co-Author of four books published by McGraw Hill including “3G for Wireless Demystified”, “CDMA IS-95 for Cellular and PCS: Technology, Economics and Services”, “Wireless Internet Crash Course”, and “Delivering xDSL”. He is also a contributing editor of the Mobile Video magazine, The Animated Telecom Dictionary” and the “Telecom Dictionary” published by Althos, NowPublic, ThoughtLeader.net, and the Business Class Editor at DallasBlog.com. Mr. Kikta is also the co-inventor on a patent. In 2000, Mr. Kikta was bestowed the Fellow award by the Radio Club of America for his contributions to the wireless industry and named a 2001 High Tech All-Star by DFW Tech Biz. He is a respected authority on technology innovation and entrepreneurship, and is a sought after public speaker on future trends, innovation, entrepreneurship and venture capital investing and frequently quoted in newspapers, industry publications. Mr. Kikta has been interviewed on television and talk radio programs and regularly serves as a guest lecturer at the Entrepreneurial Finance course at The University of Texas at Dallas, The Jindal School of Management. He is a co-author of four books published by McGraw-Hill on communications technologies including: “Wireless Internet Crash Course“, “3G Wireless Demystified“, “Delivering xDSL“, and “CDMA IS-95 for Cellular & PCS: Technology, Economics & Services“ and over 100 articles, as a Contributing Editor at Mobile Video magazine, The Animated Telecom Dictionary, NowPublic, ThoughtLeader.net and the DallasBlog.com. He is also a co-inventor on a patent issued titled Location-Based Novelty Index Value and Recommendation System and Method. Mr. Kikta has completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital Program at the Harvard Business School; management and leadership courses at New York University; Strategy and Innovation program at MIT Sloan School of Management, the Compass Management and Leadership program at Nokia; and the Dimensional Management program at Matsushita Electric Corporation. Mr. Kikta holds a B.A. degree in History and Economics from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Management Leadership program at New York University.
