Before accepting his current position, Pete spent twelve years in successive leadership roles, including as chair of our Litigation Department and head of our Trial Group. He has represented numerous entities in the securities industry in trust, securities, antitrust and tax matters, and has been admitted to argue before the Supreme Court of the United States and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Pete is Past President of the Harvard Law School Association. Formerly Editor of the Harvard Law Review, he earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard in 1972 and his B.A. in Political Science (Phi Beta Kappa) from Northwestern University in 1969.
