He has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is credited with securing more than 80 regulatory approvals, including approval of 30 new molecular entities. Dr. Koestler served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Drug Regulatory Affairs, Compliance Assurance, Clinical Safety and Epidemiology at Novartis AG from 1993 to 2001. He served as Senior Director of Drug Regulatory Affairs at Ortho McNeil and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He began his career in 1981 at Smith Kline and French Laboratories. He serves as Chairman of The Board of Rib-X Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. Koestler also Chairs the Scientific Advisory Board of Bausch & Lomb. He served as Vice Chairman and Officer of the Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation in Mountainside, NJ for 12 years. He serves as a Director of ImmusanT, Inc. He serves as a Director of Pearl Therapeutics Inc. and ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc.
