He is actively involved as a former manager of the ISWorld Mailing List, a global mailing list of about 3,000 academics and professionals in Management Information Systems and has served on organizing committees for ICIS 2001 and ICIS 2002. He is a member of the ACM, AIS and INFORMS. Mr. Gabe Piccoli holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with emphasis in Management Information Systems from Louisiana State University and graduated with a Laurea in Economia e Commercio (Economics and Business Administration) from Universita' di Pavia.
