Background

Mr. Donald W. Tang is the Founder of CSIP Group and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Tang served as President and Chairman of the Board of Bear Stearns International. Mr. Tang serves as Regional Director of West Coast of Bear Stearns & Co. Mr. Tang is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington College of Business Administration. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of The Bear Stearns Companies, ... Inc. He joined Bear Stearns in 1992 in Los Angeles as Senior Managing Director. In 1993, he was assigned to Hong Kong as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bear Stearns Asia where he built and managed its four offices in Asia. Mr. Tang was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997, and assigned to Chicago in 1999 as Head of the Midwest Region. Prior to Bear Stearns, he held senior positions at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. He serves as a Director of Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. He serves as a Trustee of The RAND Corporation. Mr. Tang serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of California Institute of Technology, Trustee of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Member of the Advisory Board of RAND Center of Asia Pacific Policy, and Chairman, Banking Reform Committee on China and Chairman of the Asia Society Southern California. He also serves as Member of the Board of Trustees of Asia Society, Trustee of the California Science Center Foundation, Member of the Board of United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Member of the Board of United Friends of the Children, Member of the Business Advisory Board of the California NanoSystems Institute, Member of the Committee of 100, and Member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, Board of Advisors of UCLA Medical Center. He holds NASD Series 3, 7, 8, 24, and 63 licenses. Mr. Tang did his undergraduate work at the East China Institute of Technology in Shanghai, and received his B.S. in chemical engineering from California State University, Polytechnic of Pomona, California in 1986.
