Mr. Yang Hua serves as the President and Party Leadership Group Member of China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Mr. Hua served as the Chief Executive Officer of CNOOC Ltd. from September 16, 2010 to November 2011. He served as Vice President of China National Offshore Oil Corp. sine May 2010. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of CNOOC Ltd. from January 1, 2005 to September 16, 2010 and served as its President from March 2009 to September 16, 2010. He served as a Senior Vice President of CNOOC Ltd. from 1999 to December 2005 and also served as the Deputy Director of its IPO Office since 1999. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Hua served as the President and the Managing Director of CNOOC Indonesia Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC. He has been Vice Chairman of CNOOC Ltd. since September 16, 2010 and has been its Non-Executive Director since November 2011. He has been Director of China National Offshore Oil Corporation since August 2011. He served as an Executive Director of CNOOC Ltd. from August 31, 2005 to November 2011. Mr. Hua is an Engineer and graduated from China Petroleum University with a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering and holds an MBA degree from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Sloan Fellow.
