Background

Mr. Raoul Stein is a Founding General Partner of Kreos Capital, and focuses on network development and new company assessment, as well as on supporting new transactions in Europe. Mr. Stein is also General Partner at Kreos 4; Kreos II; and Kreos III LP. He joined Kreos in 1999 and over 12 years has built a highly active presence as the leading senior credit provider to high-growth companies in Israel, as well as supporting a wide range of transactions across Europe. ... He also plays a key role in the management and execution of Kreos's overall strategy. He is an Associate at Apax Partners LLP. He is based in Israel where he invests in services and high-growth technology businesses and corporate spin-offs. He also assists the general partners in fund-related activities such as divestment of their funds' successes traded on NASDAQ, and in general fund-raising activities such as portfolio analysis, reporting and due diligence for the purpose of raising new funds. Mr. Stein has significant experience in advising and investing in high growth entrepreneurial companies. Prior to joining Apax Partners, he served as an Associate with Friedman, Turbidy & Company, Inc. He assisted the Managing Partner in several refinancing and acquisition transactions. Mr. Stein was involved in a refinancing of asset-backed loans with a large glass maker in the United States, representing in its efforts to refinance its debt with banking institutions. He was involved in fund-raising for a United States based cosmetics company in its expansion. He clerked at M. Porath & Co in Tel-Aviv. He serves as a Director of Extricom Ltd. He passed the Bar exams in Israel in 1993. Mr. Stein holds an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School in 1995 and studied law degree at Bar-Ilan University.
