He was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Excite prior to the merger, where Mr. Bell shepherded its through massive growth, led the company’s IPO, oversaw the acquisition of more than 20 companies between 1995 and 1999, and expanded Excite into a worldwide media property. Previously, Mr. Bell founded The Outdoor Life Network (OLN) and served as the Senior Vice President at Times Mirror Magazines, where he oversaw all aspects of eight national and special interest magazines, such as SKI and Field & Stream. Mr. Bell served as the Board Chairman of Harris Interactive. Mr. Bell serves as a Director of JumpTap, Inc. He serves as the Director at Big Fish Games, HubSpot, PhotoShelter, ShortTail Media, DataLogix, Going.com, and WonderHowTo.
