He also expanded client services, adding a comprehensive bankruptcy administration practice, an information-technology (IT) turnaround practice, and professionals. He was a Partner with Ernst & Young for 14 years, including seven years as Managing Partner of its Detroit office. He served as Chairman of Polar Corporation since 2004. He has been a Director of Numatics, Incorporated since 1990. He is a member of board of directors at American College of Bankruptcy. He served as Lead Director of Tecumseh Products Company since 2004 and served as its Director since August 25, 2004. He served as an Independent Director of SPX Corporation since February 26, 2007. He served as a Director of Champion Enterprises Inc. since 2003 and Motors Liquidation Company since February 17, 2011.
