During His tenure Shopping.com became the leader and dominant player in the newly emerging sector of comparison-shopping, and was the third largest e-commerce site on the web before it was acquired by eBay in August of 2005. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Deposit Products at MasterCard International from 1997 to 1999 and was responsible for the marketing and product management of all MasterCard online global debit products, including the MasterCard®/Cirrus®; ATM Network and the Maestro® global, online point-of-sale (POS) debit program and the deposit access business. Mr. Ciporin’s efforts helped establish MasterCard International's dominant market share in the global electronic debit market. He served as Vice President of Debit Marketing of MasterCard from 1995 to 1997. He was responsible for marketing and product management of all online global debit product. Mr. Ciporin was a Strategy Consultant for Mars and Co. and Corporate Value Associates and was responsible for conducting strategy studies for Fortune 500 companies. From 1980 to 1981, he served as a Director of Educational Programs for the Sakaeo Refugee Camp. He has over two decades of executive-level operational and investment experience. He serves as a Senior Advisor and Consultant to a variety of high growth private companies and boards. He serves as the Chairman of FiftyOne, Inc.
