Previously, he was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley until November 2000. Mr. Wadsworth, Jr. had policy and strategic oversight for Morgan Stanley's business in Japan. Prior to that, Mr. Wadsworth, Jr. was the President of Morgan Stanley Japan. From ... 1978 to 1987, he had numerous responsibilities in Morgan Stanley's U.S. Investment Banking Division including serving as a Member of the Investment Banking Operation Committee, the Chairman of Morgan Stanley's Investment Account Committee, and the Chairman of Morgan Stanley Ventures. Mr. Wadsworth, Jr. joined Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director in 1978. He organized Morgan Stanley's first Leveraged Buyout Fund and served as a Member of the Investment Committee. He also initiated Morgan Stanley's high-tech IPO business with the Apple Computer initial public offering. Previously, Mr. Wadsworth, Jr. was an Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Investment Banking at First Boston Corporation. He serves as the Chairman of the Board at Ceyuan Ventures. Mr. Wadsworth, Jr. is the Honorary Chairman at Morgan Stanley Asia and an Advisory Director at Morgan Stanley & Co. He is also a Director at Diversified Credit Investments.
