Gary Evans, Ph.D. Co-Founded Photodigm, Inc., in 2000, serves as its Chief Technical Officer and has also been its Vice President since 2000. Mr. Evans has worked for Aerospace Corporation, TRW and RCA Laboratories (Now The Sarnoff Corporation). In 1992 he joined Southern Methodist University as a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. Since 1979, he has worked primarily on the design, growth, and fabrication of conventional cleaved facet and grating surface ... emitting lasers. Mr. Evans serves as Director of Photodigm, Inc. He served as Fellow of the IEEE for "contributions to the development, fabrication, and understanding of semiconductor lasers", has over 200 publications, and is Co-Editor of The Academic Press book Surface Emitting Semiconductor Lasers. Mr. Evans is a Licensed Professional Engineer. Mr. Evans received his BSEE from the University of Washington and his Ph.D from the California Institute of Technology.
