Mr. Guy Michael Cowan, BSc (Hons), FCCA, MAICD serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Shell Oil Company. He began his career with Shell in 1981 in Brazil in various finance roles. In 1987 he went to Shell Centre, London, to work in the Latin American/African Regional Coordination Team, and subsequently, to Shell UK as Director of Colas. He was a highly experienced and well-respected Senior Financial Executive, with a strong track record across a wide range of business disciplines. He has vast experience in the financial management of a complex and geographically diverse multi-national business of the size and scale of Shell as well as knowledge of commodity markets, mergers and acquisitions, risk management and treasury operations. He has been an Independent Non Executive Director of Ludowici Ltd. since November 20, 2009. He has been a Non Executive Director at UGL Limited since February 2009. Mr. Cowan serves as a Director of Sociedad Procesadora De Leche Del Sur S.A, Sociedad Productores de Leche S.A and Queensland Sugar Ltd.
