Ms. Marcy Carsey is a Co-Founder and Partner of Carsey-Werner LLC and Carsey Werner Distribution LLC. Ms. Carsey co-founded Oxygen Media, Inc. in 1988. She Co- Founded CWM in 2001. Ms. Carsey began her show business career as an NBC tour guide. Ms. Carsey served as Production Assistant on “The Tonight Show“. She served as a Program Supervisor at William Esty Advertising. She served as a Story Analyst for Roger Gimbel at Tomorrow Entertainment and also served as an Executive ... Story Editor. In 1974, Ms. Carsey joined ABC-TV as a General Program Executive for Comedy Programming. She served as Vice President of Prime-Time Comedy and Variety Programs. She served as Senior Vice President of Prime-Time Series. Ms. Carsey went out on her own in 1980 to pursue independent production. She serves as a Director of Common Sense Media, Inc. She has received the Emmy, Peabody Award, Humanitas Prize, NAACP Image Award, the David Susskind Lifetime Achievement Award from the Producer's Guild of America, the Publicist's Guild's Showman of The Year Award and the Lucy Award from Women in film. In 1999, she was given the Golden Plate Award from the American Academy of Achievement, placing her in the Museum of the American Dream as one of the 20th century's most extraordinary achievers. Ms. Carsey a cum laude graduate in English literature from the University of New Hampshire.
