Prior to Kalypsys, Dr. Shah was at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on biotechnology and venture ... capital, including projects such as the spin-off of a new venture from a leading biotechnology company, development of corporate strategies for informatics and biopharmaceutical companies, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and venture investing. Prior to joining McKinsey, Dr. Shah was a Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations at NephRx Corporation. He was also involved in helping Arch Venture Partners with their biotechnology seed investments. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Auspex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has been its Director since May 2008. He was the Chairman of Altair Therapeutics, Inc.
