Background

Mr. Jon Carson serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BiddingForGood, Inc.(also known as cMarket, Inc). Mr. Carson is a nationally recognized entrepreneur with a passion for mission-based social entrepreneurship. Other than brief stints at Boeing and McKinsey & Company, he has always worked on new ventures. He has founded and profitably sold three companies in which no investor has ever lost money. Cumulatively, Mr. Carson has returned in excess of $175 million ... to investors, cash on cash. He also established the Family Education Network (Fen.com), which offered web services to local schools as well as a network of websites for parents, children, and teachers using a unique public/private partnership model, ultimately becoming the largest education website on the Internet. He serves as a Director of cMarket, Inc. He serves on the boards of the Boston Children's Museum, the e-Philanthropy Foundation, and NetImpact - a national organization of college and MBA chapters promoting social entrepreneurship. Mr. Carson has funded multiple lectures on social entrepreneurship at Yale and Babson College. He has previously also served on the boards of the National PTA, National School Boards Foundation, and the Small Business Association of New England (SBANE). Mr. Carson serves as Member of the Advisory board of EdTech Networks, Inc. He received a Bachelors degree from Babson College and earned a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale University.
