Craig Chapman is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Inrix Inc. Mr.Chapman is an accomplished development engineer and architect with 30 years experience developing advanced software systems and managing teams of software and hardware engineers. Prior to Inrix Inc., he served as Development Manager of Automotive Business Unit at Microsoft and was responsible for Microsoft's automotive client development team including software development, hardware development, ... and customer engineering. He was also responsible for managing technical relationships with semiconductor partners. Prior to this, he served as Systems Development Lead of Automotive Business Unit, where he was responsible for all Operating System and platform components of Auto PC, including hardware abstraction layers, drivers, Windows CE extensions, and various other system components. He also served as Technical Lead in Consumer Productivity Business Unit where, he lead the design and development of Multimedia HTML authoring component that shipped with Microsoft Home Publisher. Prior to that, he served as Group Program Manager, where he managed a program management team and provided high-level architectural design for a consumer desktop and multimedia publishing products. He served as a Principal Consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services, where he acted as lead architect and managed development of state-of-the-art information systems in a number of industries. He worked with senior management and senior technical staff to provide guidance in areas of software architecture, software development framework, and corporate-wide organizational requirements necessary to deliver and support distributed applications. He served as Director, Software Development of Span Instruments. He served as Principal Engineer of AST Computers, Adjunct Instructor at Orange Coast Community Colleague, Principal Engineer of Basic Four Information Sytems and Senior Systems Analyst of Burroughs Corporation. He serves as Director of Inrix Inc. and Families Northwest. He also taught classes and seminars on Microsoft technology, tools, development strategies and Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF). Mr. Chapman holds B.A. in mathematics from Occidental College and has done additional computer systems coursework from California Institute of Technology.
