He served as Director of Predictive Biosciences, Inc. He served as a Member of the Kauffman Fellowship program and had served his fellowship under Mentor, Mr. Robert Higgins at Highland Capital Partners. During medical school at Columbia University, one of his key publications under Dr. Mehmet Oz became the basis of the seminal patent that was licensed to a venture–backed start-up in minimally invasive heart valves. His clinical research has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, and Healthcare Executive. Additionally, he has participated in numerous abstracts and scientific presentations. During his medical training, he conducted research in minimally invasive heart valves and left ventricular assist devices, and his work was published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Salehizadeh received an M.D. in Medicine and an M.S. in Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an A.B. degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, and while there he also completed his senior thesis in the lab of Dr. Eric Wieschaus, Nobel Prize winner for Medicine. He is also a graduate of the Kauffman Fellows Program.
