Prior to his employment with Autodesk, from 1992 to 1993, Mr. LaCorte was a Manager of Worldwide Strategy and Market Planning at Sun Microsystems and a Senior Consultant at Gemini Consulting, where he specialized in process engineering in the energy, chemical, and transportation segments and held several operational and financial positions at General Electric. He was an initial member of the team at GE Capital that launched Power Funding Corporation. Mr. LaCorte began his career in the Airline Industry where he helped to found Boston Air Taxi, which pioneered the use of helicopters in traffic reporting. He is a Director of XOJET, Inc, DecisionPoint Systems, BrainPower, and HotSamba, Inc. He is also a board member of XOJet, Starcite, and CourTrax. Mr. LaCorte is a Member of Board of Directors of Apprion, Inc. since 27 March, 2007 and Member of Board of Advisors of Stellaris Corporation. He is the Director of the Graduate Business Foundation as well as the M.B.A. Board at Dartmouth. In 1996, Mr. LaCorte was named as one of the ‘Top Ten Business to Business Marketers’ by Business Marketing and Advertising Age, Technology of the Year by NASA, and Product of the Year by Industry Week. He was an Executive Fellow at the Center for Digital Strategies, Dartmouth College. Mr. LaCorte holds a B.A. degree with highest distinction from the University of Maine, holds a F.M.P. degree in Finance from General Electric, and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he received the Lebowitz Award.
